1. What the program is
Urbania's Referral Program lets anyone introduce us to a third party interested in developing a real estate project. If that introduction leads to a signed contract between Urbania and the referral, whoever recommended them receives a reward.
Taking part is free and creates no employment, partnership or agency relationship between Urbania and the referrer. The referrer may not present themselves as an employee, agent or representative of Urbania, nor offer commercial terms on its behalf.
2. Who can take part
Anyone over 18 may take part, except Urbania staff and anyone who already has a commercial agreement with Urbania that provides a commission for the same transaction. In those cases the earlier agreement applies, not this program.
Self-referrals are not accepted: you may not refer yourself, nor a company you own, are a partner in, or direct.
3. How a referral is registered
The only valid way to register a referral is the form on this page. Recommendations made through other channels are not recorded and create no right to a reward.
If the same person or company is referred by more than one person, the first registration received is the valid one, according to the date and time recorded in our systems.
A contact that Urbania already had on record as an active sales opportunity when the form was submitted is not considered a valid referral.
4. When a referral counts as closed
A referral counts as closed when Urbania and the referral sign a contract and the referral makes the first agreed payment. Until both of those happen, no right to a reward arises.
Urbania decides on its own commercial judgement whether to proceed with a referral. A recommendation that does not move forward gives rise to no claim.
5. The reward
The reward for each closed referral is generally 300 USD.
That figure is indicative and depends on the type of contract and the project actually closed with the referral. Depending on the scope of the engagement, the reward may be higher or lower than that amount.
The amount that applies to each referral is the one in force when the form was submitted, and it is communicated to the referrer before payment is made. A later change to the program's general amount does not alter what was agreed for a referral already registered.
The reward is a single payment per closed referral. It does not accrue across phases, extensions or later engagements with the same client.
6. How and when it is paid
Payment is made within 30 calendar days of confirming that the referral has closed, by whichever means is agreed with the referrer.
Any taxes, withholdings, bank fees and transfer costs that apply in the jurisdiction of the person receiving the payment are their responsibility.
To pay we need valid contact details. If we cannot reach the referrer within 90 days of the referral closing, the reward lapses.
7. Personal data
By submitting the form, the referrer states that they have the referred person's consent to share their contact details with Urbania, or that a prior relationship between them justifies it.
Urbania uses those details solely to contact the referral within this program and to handle the reward. They are not passed to third parties outside that process.
The IP address and browser used to submit the form are recorded alongside each referral, for the sole purpose of detecting automated submissions. See the privacy policy.
Both the referrer and the referred person may request deletion of their data by writing to Urbania through the contact channels published on this site.
8. Excluded conduct
Excluded from the program, with no right to a reward, is any participation involving bulk submission of contacts with no prior relationship, use of data obtained without consent, paid advertising using the Urbania brand, or submission of false data or of third parties who did not agree to it.
Urbania may remove a participation on detecting any of these behaviours, without that giving rise to any claim.
9. Term and changes
The program has no set end date. Urbania may amend these terms or discontinue the program at any time, publishing the new version on this same page.
Changes apply to referrals registered after publication. Referrals already registered are governed by the terms in force when they were submitted, which are tied to each record by its acceptance date.
10. Language and questions
These terms are published in several languages for convenience. In the event of any difference in interpretation between versions, the Spanish wording prevails.
Any questions about the program can be raised through the contact channels published on this site.
